Writing this list becomes surprisingly personal

Ten Things I Must Do Before I Bite The Dust/ Meet My Maker/ Kick the Can/ Die

in no order

1. Break something substantial with my fist - you know, like a window or a door or something
2. Scuba dive, preferably in some place with lots of coral
3. Two chicks at the same time
4. Get a film of my own into Sundance, Cannes, or the like; or else get a film of my own distributed nationally
5. Live for an extended period of time in another country
6. Make a substantial sacrifice for the sake of benefiting humanity, like doing AmeriCorps
7. Travel until I think I've seen it all, then realize I'm wrong and travel some more
8. Paint a self portrait/ build a house (Andrew, at least, understands this reference)
9. Overcome my fear of change
10. Use a meaningfully large explosive device on a non-living target

I'd be curious to see other people's lists...

when is traveling to the point where you've seen it all? unless i hit all continents (i'm close..) i doubt it

As will #7. Monetary hurdles aside, that's a great list. Someone who can finish off that list in their lifetime is a very privleged and lucky human being.

dude, you forgot "work at a potential and self-worth killing job that i hate for 40 years so i can send my kids to a state college and hopefully still have enough to pay for chemotherapy when I get cancer from smoking a pack a day my whole life." at least i know that's near the top of my list
